2007/09/21 at 9:30 pm Steve McCosh: Kream Krisp, a lard substitute, was made from the oil of peanuts grown at a Brown Co.? plantation in FL and brought to Berlin by rail. My mother remembers heading to the tracks to get a handful of peanuts which were roasted and enjoyed.
