The generator produces 3,000 Kilowatts of power and the turbine feeds five paper machines; 2007/01/06 at 7:21 pm Carl Belanger: Located at the Cascade Paper Mill boiler house and is still operational; 2008/11/29 at 6:01 pm Paul Dimick: The gentleman in this photo is my grandfather Validore “Val” Baillargeon. He worked in the camps with his father, Fortuna as a young man, working his way up to the mill shoveling coal. He was promoted to lead in the boiler room and was a vital part of opertions for many years. His job was to keep the turbines running,if not the mill shut down. A father of six children,who lost his wife at a young age.
